SYSTEMS SOFTWARE ENGINEER
An exciting new position for a Game Systems Software Engineer has become available
at our Wolverhampton based company. As part of our development team, the successful
candidate will be instrumental in the design and authoring of systems used by our gaming
and entertainment terminals for the UK, European and international markets.
Ideally you would have worked in an environment developing system software for
windows based terminals and supporting back-office systems. Experience of working
in a coin operated/terminal industry would be beneficial.
Key skills...
Excellent knowledge of C/C++, having a minimum of 2 years experience
A good understanding of developing for and configuring windows
environments (Windows XP professional, Windows XP Embedded,
Windows 2000)Demonstrate an understanding of the need for efficient
software which is designed to run as a background task (Windows Services)
-SQL development experience
-Client/Server applications development
-TCP/IP applications development
-DirectX/OpenGL API knowledge
-Linux application development and configuration
The successful candidate will have a great attention to detail, excellent organisational
skills, a good sense of humour and ability to work with people, and will foster company
success through a professional appearance, being courteous to customers & all associates,
and by having a positive attitude.
CREDIT CONTROLLER
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following areas:
Key skills...
-Collection of outstanding monies owed
-Processing and issuing credit notes
-Posting and allocating receipts
-Dealing with customers' invoicing and account queries
-Liaising with Sales managers and staff
-Providing reports to management
-Other duties as required
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of credit control
with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach.
